Job Summary
As a DevOps and Software Engineer at Inify Laboratories, you will support research engineers, software developers, and laboratory staff by automating tasks, developing tools, methods and helper components, monitoring operations of information systems, and specifying hardware configurations. As we own the whole process from research to operations, we have a unique opportunity to create and optimize a fast cycle from development to operations.
The location for this role is Stockholm. Physical presence is required in the Stockholm laboratory once or twice a week. Travel to Inify’s Linköping office is required a few times a month. Remote work is fine in between. As additional laboratories come online later, some travel abroad may be required.

Job Description
- Continually, together with process owners, find ways to optimize the process from research to operations and back.
- Acquire, develop, and maintain software components and tools supporting:
– Machine learning.
– Software development.
– Continuous integration and testing.
– Fast and safe deployment.
– Information system performance monitoring.
– Software development.

- Continually tune and configure Inify’s GPU cluster for machine learning.
- Monitor performance of the laboratory information systems and find improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to the design of high availability information systems for the laboratories.
- Perform on premises trouble shooting and repair of information systems as needed.
Key Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent.
- Good English skills. Swedish skills are a plus.
- Knowledge of all steps in the devops process (machine learning, development, integration, verification, deployment, operations, server administration, backup, monitoring, user feedback).
- Knowledge of on-premise deployment.
- Knowledge of, or interest in learning about GPU clusters.
- Good programming skills in Python and C++ (or similar high-performance language).
- Knowledge of Julia is a plus.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity.
- Good general problem-solving skills.

Additional information
An EU work permit is required.
The preferred location for this role is Stockholm but Linköping is also an option. Travel between the Stockholm and Linköping offices is required a few times a month.
